The Calm After The Storm

My flowers definitely appreciated the rain yesterday buy it was a pretty scary day.

If you have watched the news I'm sure you probably saw coverage on all the bad weather that went through the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex yesterday afternoon. If you haven't seen the videos you can watch one here.

As the sirens started going off yesterday my daughter and I started preparing for the worst. Dogs in, us in bathroom. My son was still at school under emergency lock down. My husband was at work and a tornado actually came over their building and touched down in the area. Scary but no damage to his office building. Thank goodness we did not have any tornadoes touch down near our home. However many people in the metroplex were not so lucky. Please keep the families in the DFW area in your prayers as they start to clean up after the storms. God was definitely protecting families as there have been no serious injury reports. However the loss of homes and property is great.

So happy to hear that you all are ok. Just heard from a friend of my aunt and she's fine too. Thank God!
