I always have good intentions to just come in my studio and PLAY. But then a day goes by...a week...even longer and I have not played. I have even put it on my calendar..."do art today"...but still no art. Am I the only one that does this? Well tonight I MADE myself just come in my studio and play! I got in the mindset of no expectations at all, no plans, no nothing, just pick up some paper and pen and play. Within less than 30 minutes the this little girl emerged. I was just sketching with a black pencil and there she was. So I continued to just play and color and play some more...quick, no thinking, no judging. She's messy and sketchy, but I love her! Ahhhhhh that felt AWESOME! So make some time to play! Just 5 minutes...you will be glad you did!

She's soooooo cute! And oh my friend, I seem to be just the opposite. I can't seem to tear myself FROM OUT of the Studio...LOL....oblivious to everything else...which is not good. :) but oh so fun.
